Day 3 on the California Riviera

We took a tour today - first to San Juan Capistrano to the Los Rios district, where some of the original homes have been lovingly maintained - and then to visit the Mission famous for the clockwork-like return of the sparrows every spring. Lovely gardens surrounded us at every turn.

Next we re-boarded our tour bus for a ride on "The 5" to Laguna Beach, home of the very, very rich and famous. We only had time there for lunch and a brief look at the beach before it was time to return to Anaheim. It was nice for this chance to see some of the area that is so indicative of Orange County

Tonight we'll go to a reception put on by the Holiday House publishers and then Gerri and Valerie have to go to a meeting of the AASL Affiliate Assembly. Yes - finally some of us are doing some professional work, but what will Kathy, Linda and Sandy do tonight? Stay tuned!
