Mud season

'Bout time I popped in, ya think?

Just back from a walk through the meadow and woods near our house - the same route I usually do on snowshoes. This is the ugly season in New England - and this year seems more so than ever. Lots of debris revealed by the melting snow, sand from the road all over the yard, mud everywhere, the last remnants of dirty snow, just the tiniest hints that anything is living out there - my daffodils are up about 3" on the south side of the house near the foundation. We've had a very cloudy March, with a good deal of rain and some snow, and I'm yearning for the sun. Good thing that in just 6 weeks mr. lo and I will be returning to my favorite place!

I know there are a couple of folks out there who return here periodically to see if I'm going on another Disney trip, so here's a little teaser - our plans for our upcoming trip:

We'll try and catch the afternoon parades at the MK, DAK and DHS once, especially the new Block Party Bash at DHS.

I'm vey excited about the Segway tour on mr. lo's birthday. We did the tour at Epcot a couple of years ago and loved it. This one is on all-terrain Segway's outside between Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge. mr. lo chose the Rose and Crown for dinner, in honor of his birth in England (an Air Force brat).

This is our 11th trip to WDW, although we haven't been there since December 2006 . (We DID go to DisneyLAND just this past December though.) We never tire of going - there is always something new to see - and even if there wasn't, just staying at the Beach Club Villas resort is a treat in and of itself. As mr. lo says, it's a no-stress vacation - no driving, no worries, everything works, everyone's nice. Hakuna matata!
