Ice Storm

It started Thursday night, 12/11. Over an inch of ice coated tree limbs that came crashing down everywhere all through the night. Power went out sometime around 11:30pm and stayed out until Wednesday 12/17 at 9:45pm. My parents weren't so lucky - theirs stayed out for another 48 hours, until 12/19. By then a new storm had started. We got over a foot of snow and lost our power again for 4 1/2 hours. It's still snowing a little 24 hours later and the next storm (6-10" predicted) is on our doorstep. Parts of town still without power from storm #1 - and winter hasn't even officially begun.
