We're planning to visit Walt Disney World in November. How many times have we been there, you ask? More than a dozen - but we don't get tired of our favorite place to escape reality. We'll be staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort and are looking forward to trying out a couple of new restaurants at Epcot - La Hacienda de San Angel and Via Napoli - and our first ride on the Characters in Flight tethered balloon at Downtown Disney.
Our timing for this trip is great - the Food and Wine Festival will be in full swing at Epcot and the Osborn Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios while we're there. It will also be great to see Disney's Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom. We saw this parade at Disneyland, but now it's back in Florida where it originated. It'll be fun to see Captain Eo at the Imagination pavilion in Epcot again. We saw it on our very first trip in 1992 and I only remember it vaguely.
We had to cancel a Disney trip last spring when my dad passed away, so we're feeling overdue for some Disney magic.
